1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 NAME & ESTABLISHMENT :-
Rajusha Higher Secondary School, Dindori is a reputed institution of Dindori. It is run by Rajusha Samaj Kalyan Samiti Dindori from 14 May 2000. It is registered in the M.P. Firms and societies Registration act. It's registration No. is J.D.4686. Word RAJUSHA (RAJ+USHA) is originated by name of the founder of the Institute Dr. Raj Bahadur Singh and Usha Rajput which means R-Rani, A-Avantibai, J-Joint, U-Urbanity, S-Spreader, H-Historic, A-Altruist
1.2 AIMS AND OBJECTIVES :-
The main aim of the institution is to provide, Spiritual, moral, social, and physical education to the children and stop the migration of students for education.
1.3 MEDIUM OF EDUCATION :-
The Medium of instruction of the school is ENGLISH. All subjects are taught in English except Hindi and Sanskrit. However special attention is given to make the students perfect in their mother tongue as well.
2. ADMISSIONS
2.1 NEW ADMISSION :-
New admissions are given in Nursery, L.K.G. and U.K.G. as well as other classes also. For New admissions these essential with application.
(A) Pass mark sheet of last class
(B) Birth certificate
(C) T.C.
(D) Ration Card and Cast Certificate's photocopy.
(E) Samagra Family & Student ID.
(F) Aadhaar Card
(G) Bank Pass book of Student.
2.2 R.T.E. :-
School follow the R.T.E. Act 25% Seats in Nursery are filled under this Act School Provide benefit of all Government policies.
2.3 ELIGIBILITY :-
The eligibility required for the admission in different classes is the following.
NURSERY :-
The Child who is between 2112 and 3 years can be admitted to Nursery. The child should be healthy and creative.
L.K.G. :-
The Student who knows English and Hindi alphabets and counting numbers up to 50 can be admitted to L.K.G. the age limit is 4 years .
U.K.G. :-
The age limit for admission in U.K.G. is 5 years. The candidate should have the knowledge of capital and small letters of English alphabets, all Hindi alphabets and the counting upto100.
Class 1st :-
The age limit for admission in class first is 6 years. For admission candidate should have knowledge of Hindi and English alphabet and words and counting up to 100 .
2.4 lTERVIEW & WRITTEN TEST :-
Admissions above class1st are given after an interview and a written test of the students to make sure whether the student is eligible for the same. Preferences will be given to English medium students. Hindi medium students will get admission on their parents responsibility .
3. DISCIPLINE
3.1 TIMING :-
School and Office time - 9.OOam to 4.00pm.
3.2 UNIFORM :-
Pre Primary-Blue big check pants/Skirt and sky blue shirt, black shoes and Navy blue shocks. Wednesday and Saturday –Full White Uniform. Primary, Middle & High Class-Gray Lining shirt and Plane gray pants/Skirts, black shoes and gray shocks. Wednesday and special occasions- White Uniform Saturday- House wise Uniform. All students are strictly instructed to attend the school in full uniform every day. A fine of Rs.10/-is to be paid if this discipline is violated.
3.3 ATTENDANCE :-
Parents should take care to send their words to school regularly. 80% of attendance is compulsory for promotion. The absentees have to send an application for leave on the same day through their friends or relatives for granting leave, the application must be counter signed by the parent, If a student's is absent for 7days continuously without any written information his/her name will be removed from the attendance register and Scholarship will not be given.
3.4 MEETING CHILDREN OR TEACHER :-
Parents or relatives are not allowed to meet the student or teacher during working hour without the prior permission from the principal. If there is any unavoidable reason the parents himself I herself should meet the principal to take their ward with them. Neither friends nor relatives will be permitted to take the student home
3.5 IDENTIFICATION OF THINGS :-
The name of the student should be written on the books,Bag,Tiffin,Bottle,notebooks,tie,belt,badge,sweater,coat,instrument box etc. So that they can be identified, if they are lost, the school authority is not responsible for the loss of things.
3.6 PAYING FEES IN TIME :-
The school is being run by the monthly contributions collected from the parents. The monthly fee for every year is decided by the managing committee of the institution. Parents are supposed to pay the fees on or before 10th of every month. After the last date a late fee of Rs.20/- is payable per month. If the fee is not paid for three months continuously,the student will not be allowed to sit in the class
3.7 CONVEYANCE :-
It is the parent's responsibility to send their children to school in their own conveyance However the School conveyance is made available for the needy children. Before class 6th students are not allowed to come by bicycle
3.8 GENERAL RULES :-
Students should strictly speak English in the school during the School
hours.
(A) Students are not allowed to go out side during School hours.
(B) Students are not permitted to bring valuable things and gold ornaments.
(C) It is compulsory to bring Puri, Paratha, Chapati with vegetables or pickle in lunchbox leaving
Wednesday. Non-Veg. is not allowed.
4. ACADEMIC FACILITIES
4.1 :-
Classes are handled by well qualified, experienced and trained teachers, whose hard work brings best result in the board examination.
4.2 Smart Class :-
Modern teaching technique "Smart Class" is available in the School.
4.3 EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :-
Apart from the curricular activities, chances are given to the students to develop their abilities in the fields of sports, cultural programmes, Karate, Drawing, Music, Craft, Computer and Dance etc. Competitions are conducted for these activities and the proficient students are awarded .
5. EXAMINATION
5.1 UNIT TEST, TERMINAL AND ANNUAL EXAM :-
There are monthly tests, two terminal Examinations and Annual exam conducted in the school. All Exams are compulsory for students .
5.2 PROMOTION :-
The aggregation of two terminal examinations and the annual examination is taken to make the final result for promotion .
5.3 MERIT & GRADE :-
Minimum passing marks is 33% in terminal examination, Grade against percentage are as follows .

5.4 PROGRESS REPORT :-
Each Student gets a progress report card in which the marks of all unit test and two terminal examinations, percentage of marks, grade and monthly attendance will be mentioned .
6. SCHOOL DAIRY
The Means of communication between the parents and the teachers is the school diary. Students should compulsory bring the diary daily; Parents are requested to check the diary daily to see whether there is an message from the teachers or any homework to the student. Both the parents and teachers should counter sign if there is any message from either side .
7. PARENTS TEACHERS MEETING
Generally parents teachers meeting are convened according to School Calendar. Parents are requested to attend the meetings regularly, in case of absence of parents 50/- fine will be charged.
8. CO-OPERATION OF THE PARENTS
Some parents think that it is the responsibility of the school children's for their studies. Some make excuses that they don't have time. Infect parents are advised to spend time with the children in their studies. If there is any genuine problem, parents should meet the principal and discuss.
8.1 PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING THINGS BEFORE OUR CHILD LEAVE HOME FOR THE SCHOOL :-
(A) Whether the child is in neat and clean uniform and hair and nails are properly cut.
(B) Whether the child is in full uniform.
(C) Whether all books are kept in the bag according to the Time Table.
(D) Whether the school diary and writing articles such as pencil/pen, eraser,
instrument box etc. are kept in the school bag.
(E) Whether the Tiffin and water bottle are kept in bag.
(F) Whether the child has completed the homework.
(G) Make sure that the child has not taken any unnecessary articles such as blade,
needle, toys etc.
(H) Make sure that the student is getting ready to go school in time.
8.2 PLEASE EXAMINE THE FOLLOWING THINGS JUST AFTER YOUR CHILD REACH HOME FROM THE SCHOOL :-
(A) Examine the diary whether there is any message.
(B) Check whether the child has eaten all the food.
(C) Check the school bag to see whether anything has been missed or brought
any book or thing, which does not belong to him/her.
(D) Check whether the child is tired.
(E) Whether he/she reaches home in time.
(F) Examine the homework and help him/her to do it.
(G) Verify whether the child keeps his belongings such as bag, books dress, shoes,
belt, tie etc. in their proper places.
